Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL-A Yard Driver to join our team in Brundidge, AL. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate an 18-wheeler to transport finished products and materials between company buildings.
Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely.
Maintain accurate transportation and inspection records as required.
Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and shipping personnel.
Assist with trailer positioning and yard movements as needed.
Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL required.
Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
Previous experience operating an 18-wheeler preferred.
Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight spaces and industrial environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
