Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL-A Yard Driver to join our team in Brundidge, AL. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate an 18-wheeler to transport finished products and materials between company buildings.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely.
- Maintain accurate transportation and inspection records as required.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and shipping personnel.
- Assist with trailer positioning and yard movements as needed.
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
- Previous experience operating an 18-wheeler preferred.
- Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight spaces and industrial environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
