Location: London, KY

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Thursday - Saturday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (3-Day Work Week, 36 Hours Weekly)

Job Duties

• Move and position trailers safely within the yard using a yard mule
• Coordinate trailer placement at docks and designated yard locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
• Maintain a safe and organized yard environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines

Driving Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)

What You Will Do

As a CDL A Yard Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

The CDL A Yard Driver is responsible for operating vehicles safely while transporting products and materials according to established schedules and delivery requirements. This position requires sound judgment, strong driving skills, and a commitment to protecting people, cargo, and equipment.

Successful CDL A Yard Driver candidates understand the importance of vehicle inspections, transportation safety, and maintaining accurate records throughout the delivery process. Adaptability and professionalism help drivers respond effectively to changing road conditions and customer needs.
