Role Overview

Picture your morning starting at 5:30am in a fast-moving St. Louis yard. You inspect your truck, confirm your move list over a two-way radio, and begin threading hazmat trailers through tight lanes with precision. By 2:00pm, you’ve supported production by staging loads, documenting every move to cGMP/ISO standards, and keeping equipment spotless—ready for the next shift. That’s a day in the life of our CDL Yard Hostler.

Key Details

  • Schedule: 5:30am – 2:00pm, Monday–Friday (with likely additional 5–8 hour Saturday shifts)
  • Pay: $26.64/hour, increasing to $27.37 in July 2026 + quarterly bonus (bi‑weekly pay schedule)
  • Location: 7501 Page Ave, St. Louis, MO

  • Move and load hazardous waste per supervisor instructions using approved material-handling practices on company, customer, or supplier sites.
  • Operate electric forklifts or other PIT equipment when applicable.
  • Care for equipment daily: clean, check oil/water/battery levels, record on log sheets, and replenish as needed.
  • Maintain written/electronic records per management requirements (including cGMP and ISO procedures).
  • Use a two‑way radio to coordinate lot moves and provide real-time updates.
  • Keep equipment and the surrounding work area consistently clean.
