Looking for a local CDL-A position with home-daily schedules and no long-haul driving? Join our dedicated Lafayette operation moving CAT engines and gensets between nearby production facilities.

This is a yard shuttle position with approximately 250 yards between the plant and production facility. Drivers average about 8 engine moves per day, with the ability to move two engines at a time.

PAY & SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS

• 1st Shift: $27/hour

  • Overtime: $40.50/hour

• 2nd Shift: $28/hour

  • Overtime: $42.00/hour

• 3rd Shift: $29/hour

  • Overtime: $43.50/hour

• Overtime: Time-and-a-half after 40 hours

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,080–$1,595

• Average Annual Pay: $56,000–$83,000

NEW-HIRE BONUS OPTIONS

$500 Transition Bonus

• Paid in full on your second paycheck

$3,000 Bonus

• $1,000 on second paycheck

• $1,000 at 60 days

HOME DAILY – LOCAL SHUTTLE

• Monday–Saturday schedule with some Sundays

• Starting schedule is approximately 40 hours/week

• May transition to approximately 50 hours/week

• Home Daily

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM–2:30 PM

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM–10:30 PM

• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM–6:30 AM

• Overtime available after 40 hours

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Shuttle CAT engines/gensets between Building B and Building C

• Approximately 250-yard distance between facilities

• Average approximately 8 engine moves per day

• Ability to load and move 2 engines at a time

• Perform local yard moves only — no over-the-road driving

• Secure loads using straps

• Complete required yard driving test

• Yard Hostler

• Kenworth Day Cab

• Conestoga / Flatbed equipment

• On-site parking provided

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• Valid CDL-A

• Prior yard jockey experience within the past yearOR

• At least 6 months of recent CDL-A driving experience

• Flatbed experience preferred

• Must successfully complete yard driving test

• Must be willing to perform load securement

No prior securement experience? No problem — training is provided upon hiring.

ORIENTATION

Orientation is in Lafayette, IN.

• Onsite classes are held Tuesdays only

• Dedicated orientation information available through the company orientation portal.
