Responsibilities
- Transport trash, refuse, recycled materials, porta-johns, etc to and from predetermined locations.
- Pre- and post-trip inspections of any vehicle to be operated while on duty.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents or violations to supervision
- Assist loader as needed for heavy, or bulky, items
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- Valid CDL Drivers license, with current medical card for CDL positions (CDL Positions)
- Valid Drivers license for Non-CDL drivers
