Position Summary: The CDL Class B Delivery Driver is responsible for safely delivering products to customer locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products to customer locations
- Load and unload trucks using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lift gates
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the truck
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures on invoices
- Complete all required DOT and company paperwork
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
- Follow all safety policies and DOT regulations
RequirementsRequirements & Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class B License (required)
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred (or ability to obtain)
- High school diploma or GED
- Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform physical labor
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
