About the Position
Our client is seeking a CDL B driver for a local delivery position. This role involves delivering HVAC supplies with a focus on touch freight handling.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour
- Overtime: Available after 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1st Shift
- Hours per week: 40
Job Details
- Route Type: Local
- Freight: HVAC supplies
- Equipment: Pallet jack, dolly, and lift gate
- Handling: Driver unload required
- Stops: 8-10 stops per run, with potential for 2 runs in a day
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL B vehicle
- Deliver HVAC supplies to various locations
- Unload freight using appropriate equipment
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety regulations
Minimum Requirements
- 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
