CDL B Driver

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated CDL B Driver to join our team in Elmwood Park, NJ. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods while providing excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle with a CDL B license to transport goods to various locations in NJ and PA.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage and fuel consumption.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
• Assist with route planning to optimize delivery schedules.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns to management promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 year of delivery driving experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local and state traffic laws.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
