About the Position
Our client is seeking a CDL B driver for local dedicated route delivery operations based in Grove City, Ohio. This position offers steady work, a consistent daytime schedule, and approximately 40 hours per week. The first week includes training.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $26.32 per hour
- Overtime available after 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday through Saturday availability
- Start time: 7:00 a.m.
- Typical workday: Approximately 8 hours

Job Details
- Route type: Local dedicated routes
- Service area: All stops are within a 100-mile radius of Columbus, Ohio
- Stops: Approximately 4–6 stops per day
- Freight: Cable boxes delivered to point-of-sale facilities
- Equipment: 26-foot straight truck with liftgate
- Handling: High-touch freight using a manual pallet jack
- Load weight: Palletized loads may weigh up to 1,500 pounds
- Delivery conditions may include hills and gravel surfaces
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot straight truck with liftgate on local dedicated routes
- Deliver cable boxes to point-of-sale facilities in accordance with applicable safety standards
- Complete approximately 4–6 stops per day within the Columbus-area service radius
- Use a manual pallet jack to move palletized freight, including on hills or gravel surfaces when required
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL B
- 2 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Straight truck or box truck experience preferred
- Ability to safely perform high-touch deliveries using a manual pallet jack
- Ability to handle palletized freight weighing up to 1,500 pounds
