About the Position
TransForce is seeking a professional CDL Class A Driver to support local operations in Lyndhurst, Virginia. This long-term flexible position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $28.00 per hour, plus overtime and benefits
- Schedule: Three days on, three days off
- Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Employment type: Long-term flexible
Job Details
- Route type: Local, home-daily shuttle routes
- Freight: Touch freight
- Equipment: CDL Class A equipment
- Handling: Pallet jack and other required freight-handling tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL Class A equipment on local routes.
- Transport equipment and freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
- Perform required handling tasks, including touch freight.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
- Meet the physical demands of the role.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license.
- 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- No endorsements required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
