CDL-A Regional Driver
Weekly Pay: $1,250–$1,450
Miles: 2,500–2,600 per week
Home Time: 7–9 days out
Columbus, GA 31901

Rouse Trucking is hiring experienced CDL-A regional drivers. If you're looking for a route that offers steady freight, home time, and dependable equipment, this is for you.

This position runs a regional schedule focused on consistent miles and predictable home time.

What You'll Earn

Our regional drivers earn $1,315 to $1,515 per week, plus accessorial pay. Additional compensation includes detention pay, layover pay, and holiday pay.

Your Regional Routes

You'll run dedicated regional lanes throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Our routes are built around drop and hook freight, which means less waiting and more driving. The freight is consistent, the customers are established, and you'll haul no-touch freight - no loading or unloading on your end.

Home Time That Works for You

You'll be out 7-9 days and earn 1 full day off for every 7 out. Your time off doesn't start when you pull into the staging area - if you get home Tuesday morning, your clock starts Wednesday.

Equipment You Can Count On

You'll drive a Kenworth T680 automatic equipped with a Smart Idle system, 1500-watt inverter, double bunks with new mattresses, and a bunk heater. Our trucks are serviced every 6 months to help you avoid downtime and keep your income consistent.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
  • Current DOT medical card
  • Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse record

Benefits and Orientation

We offer United Healthcare after 60 days and a 401(k) with Fidelity match after 90 days. Orientation is 3 days, and we cover travel via rental car or Greyhound, with hotel and Uber included when needed.

Why Rouse Trucking

You've put in the miles, handled the loads, and met the deadlines. You deserve a company that respects your experience, pays you fairly, and maintains equipment that keeps you moving.

We are committed to building a diverse team of professional drivers and logistics staff.
