Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking dependable Hydro Blaster Helpers to assist Hydro Blaster Technicians with high-pressure water blasting operations used for industrial cleaning, equipment maintenance, and surface preparation. This position provides hands-on support with equipment setup, operation, transportation, and cleanup while maintaining strict safety standards in industrial environments.

Required Experience & Skills
High school diploma or GED preferred
Strong attention to workplace safety and willingness to follow established procedures
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work outdoors and in industrial environments
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed
Knowledge of industrial safety procedures is preferred
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of hydro blasting equipment and accessories
Support Hydro Blaster Technicians during high-pressure water blasting operations on industrial equipment, tanks, pipelines, and other work areas
Connect and disconnect hoses, nozzles, pumps, and related equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor work areas for safety hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and maintenance of tools and equipment
Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the shift
Assist with confined space entry, tank cleaning, and industrial maintenance activities when required
Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Follow supervisor instructions and actively participate in safety meetings and training programs
Preferred Qualifications
Previous industrial labor, maintenance, construction, or manufacturing experience
Experience working around pumps, hoses, or industrial equipment
Mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience working in confined spaces or industrial maintenance environments
Physical Requirements
Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs or more
Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to work in outdoor environments and around industrial equipment in varying weather conditions
Comfortable working in confined spaces, elevated areas, and physically demanding industrial environments while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Heavy industrial facilities and customer job sites
Exposure to high-pressure water blasting equipment, industrial machinery, tanks, pipelines, noise, water, and changing weather conditions
Fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork
