Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Operate Company vehicles in a safe and lawful manner in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements
• Transport materials to and from customer locations within an approximate 2–3 hour radius of the facility
• Load and unload materials in a manner that prevents damage and maintains product integrity
• Verify the accuracy of shipments and maintain proper identification and traceability of all materials
• Complete all required documentation, including delivery records, inspection reports, and logs, in an accurate and timely manner
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues or unsafe conditions
• Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean and orderly condition and promptly report maintenance concerns
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and appropriate personnel regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues
• Interact with customers and vendors in a professional manner consistent with Company expectations
• Comply with all Company safety policies, procedures, and work rules
• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and Company operations

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A 
• Acceptable driving record in accordance with Company standards
• Knowledge of applicable DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and good attendance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials, with or without assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions

Work Environment and Schedule

• Local driving only; overnight travel is not typically required
• Routes are generally within a 2–3 hour radius of the Erie, PA facility
• Work schedules may include early start times and overtime as required based on business needs
