Position Summary

McCarthy Tire Service is seeking qualified Class A CDL Drivers to transport tires between company locations. Drivers are responsible for maintaining safe driving practices, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring freight is transported efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL Class A license
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to pass:
  • Pre-employment drug screening
  • Background check
  • DOT physical examination
• High school diploma or GED
• Must have a valid TWIC card or the ability to obtain a TWIC card upon hire

Essential Responsibilities

Class A Drivers

• Operate commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
• Load, unload, and handle tires as required
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Additional Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age for Class A positions
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing in a fast-paced work environment
