CDL Driver - Class A or B (End Dumps and Super Dumps)

Looking for a local dump truck & strong arm dump truck driver with a strong work ethic to join our small family oriented company hauling various materials and aggregates along the Wasatch front and surrounding areas. Home nightly with great benefits and working environment. ResponsibilitiesTransport goods and construction materials over land to and from pits or job sitesInspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and notify dispatch of any mechanical issuesPlan routes and be safeDocument and log loading and unloading times and weights as well as notate any delays or changes to workday and retain fuel receiptsComply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations) as well as with company policies and proceduresSafely maneuver trucks into loading & unloading positions at pits or job sitesCollect and verify delivery instructionsReport defects, accidents or violationsQualificationsProven work experience as a truck driverHands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, CB, etc.)Ability to drive long hoursExtensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulationsNo recent moving or driving violationsAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)Valid Class A-B CDL for a Minimum of 2 years operating a dump truck end dump, strong arm end dump or cement mixer truck with a trailing tag axel.SpecificationsPay Range: $25- $29 /hour DOECategory: Transportation & LogisticsEducation Level: NoneJob Type: Full-timeYears of Experience: Minimum 2 yearsMechanical skills are a plusMust have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.
