What are the responsibilities?

• Complete daily trip log via ELD software and submit reports of mileage covered at the end of day.
• Routes: East Coast
• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
• Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible.
• Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business.
• Serve as an ambassador in every interaction with Locke Supply Co customers.
• Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management.
• Comply with all DOT and Locke Supply Co rules and regulations -including all paperwork and documentation.
• Assist in loading and unloading of product.
• Other duties as assigned.

• This position is OTR/Long Haul, typical run is 5 days out and 2 days home (days home are usually consecutive), we additionally work to ensure consistent assignment of trucks units.

What are the requirements?:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Must pass a D.O.T Physical and Drug Test.
• Desire to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Valid CDL license
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer, physical job duty test through WorkSTEPS.
