RapidFire Rentals is looking for a CDL Driver to join our team!

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and trailers to deliver and pick up heavy construction equipment and rental units.
  • Load, secure, and unload heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, mini-excavators, compactors) safely at customer job sites.
  • Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers.
  • Maintain delivery documentation and ensure accurate shipment paperwork.
  • Follow DOT safety and federal/state transportation regulations.

Qualifications
  • Valid CDL Class A license.
  • Clean driving record, ability to pass background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.
  • Experience hauling construction or heavy equipment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to ~75 lbs and assist with rigging loads when needed.
  • experience with detach trailer is preferred but will train the right candidate.
  • knowledge of rental equipment operation is also preferred, driver will be responsible to load and unload trailer. 
Responsibilities
  • Keeping control of electronic logs
  • Safely securing loads and delivering loads to job locations
  • Obeying and following all traffic laws.
  • Reporting defects, accidents, and violations
  • Performing daily maintenance of truck
  • Communicating and coordinating with dispatcher
 
Pay will be determined by experience.
