CDL Driver/ Delivery Driver

Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Driver makes deliveries daily, processes paperwork necessary for recording deliveries and pick-ups, and cleans equipment when needed.

Essential Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed below satisfactorily.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Delivers and picks up trailers as needed
• Takes care of equipment during transit and ensures zero damage
• Processes paperwork necessary for recording deliveries/pick ups
• Cleans equipment before it goes into the shop and while it is on the lot
• Performs general maintenance of equipment lot (i.e. snow removal)
• Keeps the lot organized
• Assists with shop and office cleanup as needed
• Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor towards customers
• Runs parts as needed
• Organizes and maintains inventory and specific tool areas
• Maintains high productivity workflow levels in and out of the shop
• Maintains grounds and building appearance at high satisfaction levels
• Assists with rental deliveries and returns
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Knowledge:

• Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)

Skills:

• Written and verbal communication skills

Abilities:

• Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority
• Punctual and make no delays in deliveries
• Must be able to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with issues while maintaining a high level of customer service
• Prepared to work in any traffic, weather, and timing according to the Company’s business needs
• Must have a class A-CDL driver's license with a med card
