CDL Driver - Heavy Equipment & Material Hauling

We are currently seeking a reliable CDL Driver to transport construction materials and heavy equipment for an established and large/complex custom estate and home builder/remodeler in the DC Metro area. You will move assets between this clients' regional yards, warehouses, and active job sites across the D.C. metro area.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport materials and heavy machinery safely across the D.C. metro region.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo according to safety regulations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip commercial vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with warehouse managers and on-site foremen.

Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Valid CDL Class B (Class A welcome).
• Endorsement: Air Brakes endorsement required.
• Experience: Prior experience hauling heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Driving Record: Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) with no recent major violations.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with D.C. metro area routes and traffic patterns.
• Physical Ability: Able to assist with securing loads and lifting materials as needed.
