We are looking for a qualified Class A CDL Drivers to pick-up and deliver construction related materials in and around the Leander / Austin area.
Responsibilities- Drive and operate semi-trucks / semi-trailers
- MUST be familiar with safely securing loads
- Pre/Post trip inspections of truck
- Follow instructions; locate and read location and GPS.
- Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance and up-keep
- Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
Qualifications- Traffic laws, DOT regulations & driving knowledge
- MUST be able to pass pre-employment as well as random drug testing
- Listening and verbal communication skills
- Dependability
Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:- CDL - Class A
- 2 years' experience MINIMUM required
- Certificate from an accredited CDL school
- 21 years or older
- Capable of lifting heavy material up to 80 lbs
Additional InformationSalary Range: $21.00 - 23.00+ / hr
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
