What You'll Do (CDL Driver Responsibilities)
- Safely operate a garbage truck / refuse truck on assigned local routes
- Collect residential and commercial waste in Walnut and surrounding communities
- Read route sheets and follow dispatcher instructions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (fluids, tires, safety checks)
- Deliver excellent customer service with professional interactions
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL License
- Clean driving record
- At least 1 year of CDL driving experience (local route experience preferred)
- Strong focus on safety and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
