About the Role
Dexter is hiring a CDL Driver for a dedicated local route delivering trailer parts and products to our customers. This position offers steady work, well-maintained equipment, and a schedule that gets you home most nights and every weekend. There may be an occasional overnight during the week, but no long-haul runs. If you’re looking for consistent routes, fair pay, and a company that respects drivers, this is a strong opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Run a dedicated local route delivering to Dexter customers
- NO NEW YORK CITY DELIVERIES
- Customer Deliveries include NY, NH, MA, CT, ME
- Dedicated route — no random dispatching
- Safely operate a Freightliner automatic day cab pulling 48’ or 53’ flatbeds - no tarping
- Secure, transport, and deliver trailer parts and products on time
- HOURLY PAY
- Signing Bonus paid in installments
- Record cargo delivered and complete required logs
- Inspect tractor and trailer before and after each run and report any issues
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, road conditions, or incidents
- Follow all DOT, federal, state, and company safety regulations
- Take required rest breaks and drive safely in varying conditions
What We’re Looking For
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience (manual experience required)
- Flatbed experience preferred
- Clean driving record (no DWI/DUI in the last 3 years)
- Knowledge of DOT and truck driving regulations
- Ability to handle long driving days when needed
