Responsible for mixing rations according to instructions from the manager
Assign orders and deliveries to the proper bin location
Observe mill for proper operations and ensure accurate inventory and records are kept
Maintain trucks and tractors, including major and minor repairs on equipment
Adhere to safe work practices, follow SOPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure that product quality is maintained
Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect feed safety, food quality, or personnel safety
Travel to and work at multiple locations while staying local
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
What you need to be an Onsite CDL Driver:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
CDL Class A license
Ability to meet requirements of company DOT written program
Strong math skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, proportions, percentages, and basic algebra
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedure documents
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups, customers, vendors, or employees
Good mechanical ability
Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time
