What You'll Do as a CDL Driver
As a CDL Driver, you will:
- Safely operate passenger transportation vehicles on designated routes and schedules
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Provide courteous, professional, and reliable service to all passengers
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, mobility needs, and luggage when appropriate
- Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable vehicle at all times
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding route changes, delays, and service updates
- Complete trip reports, inspection forms, and required documentation accurately and on time
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle concerns promptly to fleet personnel
- Support special transportation assignments and operational needs as required
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience operating commercial vehicles, passenger transportation vehicles, shuttle buses, motor coaches, or similar equipment preferred
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Dependable work ethic with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to service excellence
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL License required
- Passenger Endorsement preferred
- State Inspection License preferred
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and meet all applicable federal, state, and company driving requirements
- Clean driving record and strong safety history preferred
- Ability to maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company standards
