\n Live haul drivers hold a Class A CDL transporting birds between poultry farms and processing plants allowing for local, home-daily routes. This position typically works 12-14 hours a night and earns approximately $1,800/weekly. Typical shift start time is 8 pm to midnight. \n
\n
\n

• \n
• Comply with the Department of Transportation (DOT) safety rules and regulations, Company policies and local, state and federal policies, laws and procedures.
• \n
• Transport live birds from the farm to the plant.
• \n
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure load is secured properly.
• \n
• Complete required documentation.
• \n
• Maintain truck cleanliness.
• \n
• Any other relevant duties to the job.
• \n

Requirements\n
\n
\n Class A Commercial Driver's License required. 1+ year(s) of verifiable commercial driving experience required. Clean motor vehicle driving record required.\n
\n
Physical Requirements\n
\n
\n

• \n
• Sit and drive for up to 10 hours.
• \n
• Regularly climb in and out of truck cab throughout shift.
• \n
• Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) on a daily basis.
• \n
• Occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
• \n
• Work around raw, live animal odors.
• \n
