On the job, you will
- Transport goods to assigned locations while operating your vehicle safely.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is road-ready and compliant.
- Record hours, maintenance notes, and delivery details with accuracy.
- Adhere to traffic regulations and company safety policies without exception.
- Partner with dispatch to navigate schedules, routing changes, or unexpected challenges.
- Load and unload freight, securing cargo to prevent shift or damage.
- Deliver courteous, solutions-focused service to customers at every stop.
To thrive in this role, you'll need
- A valid CDL and clean driving record.
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Solid knowledge of DOT compliance and safety best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Physical strength to lift heavy items and handle manual tasks when required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bonus points for additional certifications.
- A current DOT Medical Card along with your current CDL credentials.
