The Staff Pad has partnered with a specialized logistics company to identify experienced and reliable CDL OTR Truck Drivers. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that handles high-value, specialized freight across the country.

Drivers in this role operate in teams, completing weekly or bi-weekly routes in comfortable double sleeper cabs. If you’re an experienced driver looking to expand your skill set beyond traditional freight, this company provides hands-on training in a niche and rewarding industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate a Class A or Class B commercial vehicle over long distances
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery of freight across assigned routes
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD)
  • Coordinate with dispatch for routing, scheduling, and delivery updates
  • Safely load and unload freight (materials and equipment provided)
  • Adhere to OSHA and DOT safety standards, including hours-of-service regulations
  • Report safety incidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid CDL Class A or Class B license
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
  • 1+ year of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and DOT safety standards
  • Experience with ELD systems (Samsara preferred)
  • Ability to drive long distances and stay overnight as required
  • Comfortable with hands-on work, including loading and unloading freight
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
  • Strong time management, navigation, and communication skills
