Day in the Life
Picture your morning in Boca Raton, FL: you arrive on site, walk around your machine, and run pre‑operational checks to ensure everything is ready. You climb into the cab of an excavator, bulldozer, or loader and get to work moving earth and materials with precision. Throughout the day you coordinate with your supervisor and crew, keep safety top of mind, and document equipment use and maintenance. Before you leave, you perform minor adjustments, log your activity, and make sure the machine is secured for tomorrow.
What You'll Do
Operate heavy machinery—excavators, bulldozers, and loaders—safely and efficiently.
Complete pre‑operational inspections to verify safety and functionality.
Follow established safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on assigned equipment.
Communicate progress and equipment status with team members and supervisors.
Maintain accurate logs for equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Uphold all company policies and procedures.
What You Bring
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Hands‑on experience operating heavy equipment in construction or industrial environments.
Strong working knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
Ability to handle physical tasks and work in varying weather conditions.
Clear communication and collaborative teamwork skills.
Basic mechanical aptitude for maintenance and troubleshooting.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
