Job Summary: Ashland Community and Technical College invites applications for our part-time CDL adjunct faculty pool. These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed when regular full-time faculty are not available due to increased enrollment, workload, or scheduling: days, evenings, weekends. Classes are face-to-face only.
Job Duties: • Teaching assistant to help with instruction on-the-range and over-the-road activities and may do tutoring for students as needed. • Provides instructions to students in both theory and practice in the particular area of instruction. • Maintains classroom order and discipline.
Minimum Qualifications: • Commercial Driver's License • Experience and demonstrated competencies in commercial transportation. • Must hold current Kentucky Class A CDL License. • Must have CDL driving experience; prefer a minimum of two (2) years. • Preference will be given to applicants with experience as a classroom, road and range Class A CDL instructor. • High School diploma or equivalency.
