CDL Truck Driver - 43427 - Primoris Energy Services

Job Overview:

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to safely and efficiently transport materials and equipment to and from job sites, ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.

Job Responsibilities:**
* Operate various types of commercial vehicles, including but not limited to, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, in a safe and responsible manner.
* Transport construction materials, heavy equipment, and other goods as directed by dispatch or supervisors.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any defects or maintenance needs.
* Secure loads properly using appropriate tie-downs, chains, and binders to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
* Adhere to all federal, state, and local Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, including hours of service (HOS) and weight limits.
* Maintain accurate logbooks and other required documentation.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other team members regarding delivery schedules, delays, and potential issues.
* Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.
* Ensure the cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicles.
* Respond to roadside emergencies or breakdowns in a safe and professional manner.
* Represent Primoris Services Corporation professionally at all times.

Job Qualifications:**
* Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
* Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience, preferably in the construction or energy services industry.
* Hazmat endorsement preferred, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
* Tanker endorsement preferred, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and background check.
* Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
* Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, and stoop as necessary.
