Jones Welding & Industrial Supplies is growing — and our
new Fayetteville location is just getting started.
We are looking for a dependable, motivated
CDL Delivery Driver with Hazmat who is ready to do more than simply make deliveries. Because Fayetteville is a new and growing location, this is a true
all-hands-on-deck position with the opportunity to help build a strong branch from the ground up.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being part of a team, and wants to grow with an established company while helping shape the culture and success of a brand-new location.
What You’ll Do
Your primary responsibility will be safely delivering welding supplies, industrial gases, cylinders, equipment, and other products to our customers throughout the area.
When you’re not on the road, you’ll be an important part of the Fayetteville team and may assist with:
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Handling and organizing gas cylinders
- Warehouse and inventory duties
- Receiving and stocking merchandise
- Preparing customer orders
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Assisting customers at the inside sales counter when needed
- Helping with day-to-day branch operations
- Supporting the team wherever needed as the Fayetteville location continues to grow

What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL
- Hazmat endorsement required
- Safe driving record
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable with physical work, including loading, unloading, and handling cylinders and industrial products
- Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
- Willingness to learn different areas of the business
- Good customer service and communication skills
Welding, industrial supply, fabrication, mechanical, or shop experience is a major plus — but it is not required. We are happy to teach the right person who brings the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities - Working with the inside sales team
- Welding knowledge is a major plus!
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.
Qualifications- Must have a valid CDL w/ Hazmat and clean driving record
- 1-2 years of delivery or warehouse preferred
- Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
