Penmac Staffing / Transportation Dept is hiring a local CDL?A Driver for a steel company in Springfield, MO. This is a full?time, Monday through Friday position with a 7:00am–5:00pm schedule, paying
$20.00 per hour.
Requirements for the CDL?A Driver- CDL?A driver
- Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and MVR review
- CDL?A license without an automatic?only restriction
- Ability to read tape measure
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong work history and reliability
- Able to work in the warehouse when not making local deliveries
CDL?A Driver Responsibilities- Operate various trucks including flatbed, gooseneck, semi, and straight trucks
- Transport steel materials safely to local destinations
- Strap and chain loads
- Operate an overhead crane by hand
- Perform some touch freight as needed
- Work with both automatic and manual transmission trucks
- Maintain safe driving practices and follow DOT regulations
- Flexible hours may be available depending on workload
