C&E Facility Assistant Position Position Overview
Supply support to all athletic events.
Essential Duties • Open/close main facility and support buildings (restrooms, press box, ticket booth, training room) • Enforce facility policies and regulations • Maintain clean and presentable facility for all participants, guests, and maintain neat equipment storage • Assist with setup, tear down, or moving of equipment, tables, chairs, benches, and goals • Delivery setup and tear-down of AV and other equipment • Scoreboard operation • Communicate regularly via shift report to supervisor and follow University security measures • Welcome guests and other visitors, answer questions, and make appropriate referrals, act as ambassador to the conference/event guests for Conference & Event Services
Work Experience Customer service Strong verbal communication skills Able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, including tables and chairs Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to follow instructions accurately Strong problem solver who takes initiative
Eligibility Requirements for Student Employees
To be eligible to be a CSP student employee, one must:
Be enrolled and registered as a CSP student PSEO students are not eligible Have a United States social security number Have proper identification as determined by Form I-9 Have declared a major at CSP Be in good standing with CSP academic requirements and student accounts
For summer employment, priority will be given to the student employees who are enrolled and registered in summer courses. International students who are on a F-1 Visa must obtain a United States social security number.
