    Legal Entity: AECOM Technical Services IncBusiness Line: TransportationWork Location Model: HybridPrimary Location: US - Fort Lauderdale FL - 110 E BrowCompensation: USD 190,000 - USD 230,000 - yearlyJob DescriptionAECOM is currently seeking a highly experienced CEI Senior Project Engineer to support and oversee a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects within the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida region. This role will be responsible for providing technical expertise, leadership, and construction engineering inspection support to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, quality standards, and schedules.ResponsibilitiesDirecting a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection programPlanning and organizing the work of subordinate and staff membersDeveloping and reviewing policies, methods, practices, and proceduresReviewing programs for conformance with Department standardsSupports, oversees and coordinates engineering production activities for an operating unitMakes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritativeInitiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issuesSupervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limitsUnder minimal supervision, performs complex duties utilizing advanced techniques and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and methodsAssumes lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support staffQualificationsBachelor's degree plus 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationValid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records reviewDue to the nature of the projects a US Citizenship is requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) and the ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP if registered in another statePreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in EngineeringProficient with project delivery requirements, creativity, foresight, working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and deliver high quality technical excellenceDemonstrates strong judgment in proactively identifying and solving routine and non-routine operational challenges, establishing operational objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guidance across diverse engineering functionsFDOT Advanced MOTCTQP Quality Control ManagerSix years of engineering experience, two of those years involved in relevant transportation projectsAdditional InformationRelocation assistance is not available for this positionSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this positionAs an Equal Opportunity Employer, we believe in your potential and are here to help you achieve it.
