Celo/Trident Fastners-Cold Header Machine Operator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cold Heading Operator to set up, operate, and maintain cold heading machines used in the production of fasteners and precision metal components. This role is critical to ensuring on-time production, consistent quality, and safe operation of equipment.

 

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM

 

Key Responsibilities

• Load wire or metal stock into cold heading machines
• Operate and monitor machines to ensure efficient production
• Change tooling when worn, damaged, or broken
• Complete cold heading production orders on time
• Inspect finished parts to meet quality standards and production specifications
• Perform in-process quality checks and report any product deviations to the Quality Department
• Label headed semi-finished products and move them to designated areas
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

 

Previous experience operating cold heading or similar metal forming machines preferred Ability to read work orders, specifications, and basic measuring tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to stand for extended periods
