Job Code: 82150503 The Bulk Plant Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery (PSD) to customers. The Bulk Plant Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work (SW), and manages risk during service delivery. This person manages bulk plant facilities to facilitate delivery of prepared products and bulk materials to wellsites, maintaining excellent quality control (QC) in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Bulk Plant Operator assists in training other Operators and trainees. This person ensures compliance with governmental regulations and industry standards, and reduces environmental impacts through observing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies. * Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time. * Blend and mix bulk products for delivery to the wellsite, on time, according to the job program design. * Check and/or calculate quantities of material blends required prior to loading. * Follow Product Line (PL) quality assurance procedures to ensure proper loading. * Coordinate movement of bulk products to and from locations with the PSD and Logistics Team. * Assist in conducting monthly inventory and daily paperwork completion for goods received and shipped. * Label and store additives in a safe manner and ensure the disposal of empty drums and pails. * Maintain bulk plant equipment by performing a daily check while ensuring the bulk plant is kept clean. * Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs. * Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, telehandler).
• Maintain bulk plant equipment and cleanliness.
• Conduct inventory and manage warehouse tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Work in a team environment with some independent tasks.
Experience and Skills
• Top 3 Skills: Safety mindset, ability to perform physical labor, machinery operation.
o Forklift experience required.
• Basic Microsoft Office and warehouse/inventory management systems helpful.
• No prior cementing experience required; training provided.
Length of Assignment
• Possible extension or conversion to FTE.
Work Environment
• Fast-paced and flexible.
• Must be comfortable working in dusty environments and outdoors (approx. 50% of time).
Training
• NEST training in Kellyville.
• 3-day LVT course.
• On-the-job training for cementing and machinery.
Shift/Hours
• Shift Length: 12 – 12.5 hours.
• Shift Times:
7 nights 3 days off 7 days 4 days off
• Rotation: 7/4.
• No shift premium.
Physical Demands
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Work includes outdoor labor and machinery operation.
Safety
• PPE required: Hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, full FR gear – provided by SLB (unless they already have their own steel-toe boots).
