    Center for Student Engagement Student Employee

    Position Overview: CSE student workers are the face of the Center for Student Engagement. They help run day-to-day operations and assist students in student activities, service-learning, study abroad, and leadership opportunities.

    Essential Duties:
    • Serve as a representative of the Center by informing students about Student Activities, Study Abroad, Ignite Leadership Program, Service Trips, and Volunteer Opportunities.
    • Complete basic office tasks: answer the telephone, respond to emails, make copies, and restock brochures and posters.
    • Greet office guests, answer questions, and direct to the proper individual(s) using Google Calendar for appointments.
    • Create posters and digital TV screens
    • Staff and run the tunnel table during Educational Awareness Weeks
    Experience Required:
    • Current undergraduate Concordia University St. Paul student
    • Willingness to tackle new projects and desire to learn
    To be eligible to be a CSP student employee, one must:
    • Be enrolled and registered as a CSP student (PSEO students are not eligible).  
    • Have a United States social security number.*
    • Have proper identification as determined by Form I-9.
    • Be in good standing with CSP academic requirements and student accounts.
    • Have declared a major with CSP.
    • For summer employment, priority will be given to the student employees who are enrolled and registered in summer courses.
