Position Summary – Center Manager
The Center Manager is responsible for the
operational,
customer-facing, and
sales aspects of running the center. This role is ideal for an energetic, organized, and relationship-focused individual who can lead staff, engage families, and ensure a smooth and efficient center experience.
The Center Manager builds trust with families, drives enrollments, maintains strong communication, manages administrative tasks, and supports a positive environment for both students and staff.
This is a part-time (30+ hours) position with the opportunity to become a full-time Center Director.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day center operations to ensure a high-quality experience for students and families
- Build relationships with parents and guardians; provide updates and handle concerns professionally
- Manage incoming leads, conduct consultations, and drive new student enrollments
- Support center profitability through effective scheduling, staffing, and administrative oversight
- Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
- Manage staff scheduling, communication, and performance expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional learning environment
- Assist the Academic Manager with ensuring the staff follow the Mathnasium Method while upholding center standards
- Support team motivation, culture, and employee development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or client-facing roles
- Experience working with children preferred but not required
- Strong organization and administrative skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage staff
- Proficiency with computers and software systems
- Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented demeanor
- Willingness to learn the Mathnasium Method
