Overview
An outpatient rehabilitation opportunity is available in
Livermore, California, for a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist interested in combining hands-on patient care with center leadership. This position is well suited for an experienced clinician ready to advance into management or an established leader seeking greater operational responsibility.
The Center Manager will maintain an active patient caseload while overseeing daily operations, team development, clinical quality, and center growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership- Provide direct patient care while managing center operations.
- Promote excellent clinical outcomes and a positive patient experience.
- Coach, mentor, and support therapists and rehabilitation staff.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing clinical environment.
Operations & Team Management- Manage scheduling, staffing, hiring, onboarding, training, and budget-related activities.
- Review center performance, productivity, and financial information to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with regional leadership to achieve clinical and operational objectives.
- Conduct staff meetings and quality reviews to support continuous improvement.
Business Development & Community Outreach- Develop relationships with physicians, referral partners, and community organizations.
- Participate in outreach, marketing, and business-development activities.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen referral volume and center growth.
- Represent the center professionally within the local community.
Compliance & Quality- Maintain compliance with Medicare requirements, California practice standards, and applicable regulations.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and clinical audits.
- Maintain OSHA requirements and appropriate workplace safety procedures.
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program.
- Current California PT or OT license, or eligibility to obtain California licensure.
- Current CPR certification.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of common computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds independently and assisting with patient mobility.
- Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and equipment handling.
Preferred Qualifications- Previous clinical leadership, supervisory, or center-management experience.
- Experience supporting clinic operations, staff development, or referral growth.
