Position Overview:

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified Center Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) to provide mental health services to students at the Anaconda Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. The counselor will provide mental health assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, case management, referrals, and mental health education while coordinating with Center staff to support student health, wellness, and successful program participation.

Location: Anaconda Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, Anaconda, Montana
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract Position
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 40 hours per week

Requirements
The candidate shall have at minimum:
  • An active, current, and unrestricted professional license allowing independent mental health practice in the State of Montana without supervision.
  • At least one year of experience as a licensed independent practitioner providing assessment and treatment to adolescents and young adults.
  • Experience providing mental health assessments, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records.
  • Ability to work effectively with adolescents and young adults in a residential educational environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare and counseling teams.
  • Ability to meet applicable background checks, credentialing, drug-testing, and facility-access requirements.

Responsibilities
The candidate must:
  • Conduct mental health assessments, evaluations, and screenings of students as required.
  • Provide short-term counseling, brief therapy, and appropriate mental health interventions.
  • Provide crisis assessment, intervention, stabilization, and referrals when necessary.
  • Develop treatment recommendations and follow-up plans based on individual student needs.
  • Provide case management for students with ongoing or chronic mental health concerns.
  • Coordinate referrals to outside mental health providers when additional treatment is required.
  • Collaborate with physicians, Health and Wellness staff, counselors, the Drug/Alcohol Abuse Counselor, and other Center personnel.
  • Support students with co-occurring mental health and substance-use concerns.
  • Provide mental health education and promotion activities to students.
  • Conduct required mental health orientation or educational sessions for new students.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, timely, and confidential Student Health Records.
  • Participate in case conferences, meetings, program reviews, and student support activities as required.
  • Comply with all applicable Job Corps, USDA Forest Service, professional, privacy, and contractual requirements
