Central Associate Advisor

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who enjoys building relationships and who is committed to providing an excellent client experience. This candidate will also have a positive attitude, be team oriented, and understand the importance of 100% accountability. 

\n

The Central Advisor is part of a centralized team that directly manages a defined portfolio of clients. Interactions will largely be remote through telephone and electronic communications for sales and servicing. Travel between 7 office locations along the Wasatch Front will also be required for some in-person meetings. This position conducts annual reviews, proactively follows through with sales opportunities while providing superior client service. Licenses for both Series 65 and Life & Health are mandatory to complete the duties of the role.

 Duties include, but are not limited to:

\n

·     Conduct regular client annual reviews

\n

·     Execute client service and transaction requests with efficiency and exactness

\n

·     Achieve set production levels through identifying and onboarding off-held assets with clients

\n

·     Continually improve the clients’ retirement plans utilizing The B.O.S.S. Retirement Blueprint

\n

·     Ensuring all aspects of client retirement plans are executed

\n

·     Growing the portfolio of clients through asking for and meeting with referrals

\n

Critical Competencies\n

·     Federal taxes relating to Roth Conversions

\n

·     Social Security

\n

·     Annuities

\n

·     Securities and portfolio management

\n

·     Excellent customer service

\n

·     Proficient in Microsoft Office

\n

·     Have an understanding of Mac IOS

\n

·     Experience with CRM preferred, not required

\n

·     Excellent written and verbal communication skills

\n

\n

 Minimum Qualifications:

\n

·     Bachelor’s degree preferred

\n

·     2 + years of financial services experience with an emphasis in customer service

\n

·     Utah Life and Health Licensed required

\n

·     Series 65 required (or equivalent)

\n

*This position starts at a base salary of $70,000/year with commissions.
