What You'll Do
As a Central Office Technician, you'll assemble, install, and support critical telecommunications equipment in Central Office environments.
Responsibilities include:
Assemble and install equipment racks, bays, cabinets, and support structures
Install power distribution systems, grounding, wiring, and cable management
Complete detailed equipment assembly, wiring, and cable terminations
Install and organize telecommunications equipment according to engineering specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
Test equipment and troubleshoot installation issues
Work alongside Lead Technicians, Foremen, Superintendents, and Project Managers to complete projects safely, accurately, and on schedule
Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas
What We're Looking For
Experience as a Central Office Technician with equipment assembly experience
Knowledge of equipment rack installation, telecommunications infrastructure, wiring, and cable management
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail
Team-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship and job site safety
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Professional attitude and a desire to grow into Lead Technician or other leadership roles
