  • Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annually
About the Opportunity
Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced, dynamic Central Packaging Facility & Grounds Manager for a premier client in the Corcoran area. This is a vital leadership role responsible for overseeing packaging facility operations, cotton bale yard activities, and general grounds maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
As the Facility & Grounds Manager, you will blend frontline leadership with operational oversight. Your core duties will include:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Direct, train, and support daily employee operations; manage performance, coaching, and timekeeping while maintaining positive, professional employee relations.

  • Operational Oversight: Inspect machinery, air compressors, and bale seals to ensure optimal operation and continuous efficiency; actively assist with daily tasks as needed.

  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict workplace safety policies, manage PPE distribution, and proactively identify and report hazards to maintain an accident-free environment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing operational efficiency and lead change management efforts on the floor.
Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–3 years of supervisor/management experience AND 2–3 years of experience working within a packaging or manufacturing environment.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and team-building skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus.

  • Problem Solving: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve employee relations issues, and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
