What You’ll Do

• Manage sterile processing department operations and supervise staff
• Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Maintain inventory levels to support patient care without disruption
• Perform quality checks and report inventory transactions accurately
• Lead training and development efforts for staff members
• Follow all safety and compliance standards, including handling biohazards and hazardous materials
• Adapt communication and care approaches to meet the needs of diverse patient populations

What You Need

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Certification as CRCST, CSPDT, or CST; 2+ years of sterile processing or surgical tech experience
• Skills: Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work independently; leadership and motivational abilities
• Physical Demands: Ability to perform heavy manual handling, including lifting up to 50-100 pounds occasionally and frequent standing or walking in a healthcare environment
