Job Summary
The Receiving Technician position requires an individual who has strong customer services skills, ability to communicate with all areas within the organization in a fast pace environment. Candidates should have a track record of being detail orientated and the ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills. Responsible for accurately receiving shipments, printing delivery tickets, scanning in pack slips, working with outside delivery vendors for shipping and receiving issues, utilization of the computer receiving system, staging received items for delivery, handling refrigerated/frozen items and delivering these items to all areas of the organization. Responsible for maintaining records of all paperwork pertaining to the delivery, receipt, and tracking of items shipped to the organization.

In lieu of 6 Months Working in a Hospitals Supply Chain or Materials Management Department, will consider either of the following:
Required Certifications/Licensure: None.
Required Training
Basic computer skills, knowledge of office equipment, knowledge of supply chain computer software and operations, medical product knowledge, receiving principals, manual and electric pallet jack operation, understanding of item identification information (catalog #s, Lot #s, expiration dates), and the organization of paperwork associated with the receiving process.
