What You'll Do:

Process & Fund Consumer Loans

Accurately and timely process and fund non-home equity consumer loan products, delivering smooth and reliable experiences for members.

Ensure Compliance & Accuracy

Consistently adhere to regulatory requirements, Summit Credit Union policies, and established procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance throughout the loan lifecycle.

Manage Queues & Work Independently

Maintain excellent turnaround times by managing assigned processing queues while collaborating with peers to support centralized processing and indirect loan funding needs.

Review & Complete Documentation

Thoroughly review, prepare, and finalize loan documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance at every stage.

Communicate Effectively

Partner with members and internal teams to resolve questions, provide clarity, and support positive, timely outcomes.

Support Operational Goals

Contribute proactively to department success by meeting productivity metrics and operational efficiency goals established by leadership.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum of two years' combined experience in at least two of the following: financial environment, lending, retail, or relevant business/customer service roles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NMLS number, as required.
  • Demonstrated experience processing consumer loans and preparing associated documentation.
  • Knowledge of consumer lending regulations, including RESPA, TRID, flood, and Reg Z, as applicable.
