This opening is the dedicated Hospital CEO for a freestanding IRF in the Summerlin / southwest Las Vegas suburbs. The site offers Joint Commission disease-specific programs, onsite dialysis, and a full interdisciplinary rehab model (stroke, brain injury, spinal cord, complex ortho, and neurological recovery).

Job Details / Responsibilities:
Serve as the on-site Hospital CEO with full accountability for operations, financial performance, quality, census, and culture at a 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital (ADC 40)
Lead 10–12 direct reports and the hospital leadership team; set expectations, coach, and celebrate results
Own census and volume growth; actively market services and build referral relationships across the Las Vegas / Summerlin community
Oversee hospital operations and continuously assess and improve clinical, operational, and financial performance
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, Governing Board and Medical Staff policies, and Joint Commission standards
Drive budget development and oversight, FTE management, expense control, and process design that supports regulatory compliance
Partner with Medical Staff and clinical leaders on quality outcomes, patient experience, and program development (stroke, brain injury, ortho, neurological, and related IRF lines)
Foster an inclusive, high-accountability culture that empowers staff to meet and exceed hospital objectives
Represent the hospital with the community, referral partners, and system leadership
Qualifications:
Master’s in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related healthcare field preferred; Bachelor’s accepted with equivalent senior hospital-operations experience (budget, FTE, volume/marketing, expense control, policy, and regulatory process ownership)
Five years of healthcare management experience, including a minimum of 2–3 years in a senior management role
Strong preference for hospital-based CEO or COO experience
SNF / nursing-home / other post-acute leadership considered when tenure is long and results are proven
Demonstrated ownership of hospital operations, census/volume growth, financial performance, and regulatory compliance
Ability to work weekdays and, as needed, weekends, evenings, nights, or scheduled holidays
Must work on-site at the Desert Canyon / Summerlin-area hospital
