Health Plus Management, LLC (HPM) is the leading management provider for independently owned physician practices, specializing in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt Position Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Train and supervise staff
  • Ensure all employees are working in accordance to assigned job descriptions and responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance (reviews, rewards, recognition, and discipline)
  • Handle new hire on-boarding for all staff at site (new hire paperwork, training, goal-setting/career pathing)
  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling
  • Ensure accuracy and follow through in office processes of patient entry, reception, scheduling, paper flow, medical records, chart preparation, etc.
  • Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Updating health and safety policies and ensuring that they are being adhered to
  • Effectively communicate with employees, including scheduling and running monthly staff meetings
  • Direct flow of work in the office
  • Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Updating health and safety policies and ensuring they put into effect
  • Ensure the quality and efficiency of work processes and services
  • Communicate with patients regarding inquiries and complaints to ensure patient satisfaction and obtain a potential referral source
  • Work with patients to explain coverage amounts provided by their insurance policy and discuss financial obligations and payment options when necessary
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies and equipment

Knowledge and Experience

  • Knowledge of all commercial insurances and No Fault/Worker's Compensation regulations
  • Commercial verification experience is a plus
  • Medical management experience preferred
  • Commercial verification experience is a plus

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication

Education and Training Bachelor's degree preferred

Minimum 3 years experience in healthcare/medical office/private practice
