Job Summary:

The Certified Surgical Technologist II (CST II) functions in a scrub role for operative and other invasive procedures including establishing and maintaining a sterile field, specimen handling, counts, medications/solutions, implants and instrument processing and may assist with circulating duties, as well as, participate in activities related to standards and quality improvement for the specialty and the department. In addition, serves as a preceptor and mentor, and as a specialty resource in three (3) specialties.

 

Shift/Hours: M - F, nights, 21:00 - 7:30

 

Salary Details:

Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as a CST, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $26.80, max of salary range is $40.20. 

Required Qualifications:

- Require active national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Require a minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist or successful completion of Operating Room CST internship program.
- Require proficiency in three (3) or more specialty services.
- Require proficiency in first and second scrub roles.

Required License and Certs:

BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
CST: Certified Surg Technologist

Shift/Hours: M - F, nights, 21:00 - 7:30
