Mojave Unified School District consists of 3 Elementary Schools, 1 High School, 1 Junior-Senior High School, and 1 Middle School. Our purpose is to graduate each student with technical, reasoning, academic and character skills needed for career preparation.

Requirements / Qualifications

Credential Requirement 1) Valid Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit or Clear Teaching Credential (multiple subject, single subject, education specialist) 2) Placement on the KCSOS County-Wide Substitute Teacher Eligibility List All substitute teachers will have to attend a brief in-person interview.

Certificated Substitute Salary Schedule Daily Rate (for all regular assignments of 4 hours or more) $250.00 Minimum Daily Rate (For assignments of less than 4 hours) $125.00 Preferred Substitute Daily Rate (Inquire for requirements to qualify) $260.00 Long-Term Assignment Daily Rate (Paid for assignments more than 20 consecutive days for same teacher -- rate begins on 21st day) $270.00
